Previous Post: SEOUL ITINERARY DAY 4: TRICK EYE & ICE MUSEUM, AND HAN RIVER CRUISE (PART 2)
We still wanted to explore Seoul but our fifth day had finally arrived! Our itinerary for this day were the Seoul Global Culture & Tourism Center and the famous Myeongdong Cathedral featured in the popular Korean series “You’re Beautiful”
Seoul Global Culture & Tourism Center (SGC&TC)
Seoul Global Culture & Tourism Center offers a free Hanbok (traditional Korean clothing) experience. Since, we were just near this area, we decided to grab the opportunity to try this experience!
From Namsan Guesthouse in Myeongdong, we just walked and asked around on how to get to this place. SGC&TC is located at 5F M-Plaza, Myeong dong 2ga, Jung-gu Seoul.
Below are some important information about it:

It was raining on our fifth day so we had challenges looking for the place. However, we managed to find the place before 10:00 am so we still had the chance to settle down and look around.
Finally, here are the photos of the Joseon people:
The maiden, the queen dowager, and the queen!
The queen with her lady maidens
Queen Berlin during her reign!
The queen in all her grandeur!
Lady Weng of Joseon!
Lady Irma of Joseon!
We really had a great time trying the Hanboks and posing like real people from the old kingdom.
After SGC&TC, we grabbed a quick lunch in one of the restaurants in Myeongdong and headed to the cathedral at 01:00 PM.
Myeongdong Cathedral is really big and has an impressive architectural design.
On the side is this building that looks like a convent
For some reason, I was emotional when I entered the church. It was very solemn inside and I could not help but to utter a prayer of thanksgiving for the successful trip with friends.
After Myeongdong Cathedral, we stopped by at the Subway to buy some very cheap items (bags, chopsticks, utensils, key chains) that we could bring home. At 03:00 PM, we were already back in the guest house to pick up our luggage for the airport.
We took bus 6015 (the same bus from Incheon to Myeongdong) going to the airport. The travel was around two hours. Gladly we did not experience the worst Seoul traffic on that day so we still managed to get to the airport approximately three hours before our flight.
