We decided to explore Bangsar South for our New Year’s celebration and we stumbled upon Edo Ichi. We decided to give it a try without much expectations. We did not know that we were bound to say: “I do” to the goodness on their plates.
Our little one called it dibs when he tasted Edo Ichi’s grilled salmon. The juicy, pinkish, and tender texture of the salmon were absolutely notable qualities of freshness.
Volcano Roll (27 RM). This was an “I LAVA YOU” moment as I dug into this avalanche of sushi roll with assorted fish and special mayonnaise.
Very fresh assorted sashimi included in the Sashimi To Shake Set at 53 RM.
Surprisingly, our little one was able to finish this whole plate of Chicken Katsu Curry Rice (28 RM). I loved how the curry complimented the dry chicken and how skillfully it was fried – the meat was crunchy yet soft, tasty, and definitely not greasy!
Since I am such a huge fan of macha, I definitely ordered this awesome Macha Azuki Freeze (17.5 RM).
And this cutesy patootsie drink was for the little man while daddy had his beer.
Here is the entire gang while waiting for our order. I was so not informed that we need to wear red!
Overall, our experience in this place was truly great. We had the best value for our money.
Edo Ichi is located at the ground floor of Nexus in Bangsar South.
