We finally got it! These Pork XiaoLongBao (315 PHP) are sensational. The dough is artfully shaped with the precision of moisture that really make it wonderfully soft.

Tips in eating XiaoLongBao:

  1. Prepare a mixture of your soy sauce and rice vinegar and make sure your ginger slices are dipped in it.
  2. Pick your XiaoLongBao with a chopstick, dip it in your sauce, put it in your spoon, and topped it with ginger slices.
  3. Then, using the tip of your chopstick, create a hole on one side of your dumpling and allow the sauce to be absorbed inside
  4. Now, savor the meaty and juicy goodness of your dumpling as you bring it into your mouth slurping even the remaining broth on your spoon.

Look at these Shrimp and Pork Wantons with House Special Spicy Sauce (175 PHP). I felt the euphoria  of eating for the first time the perfectly thin, chewy, spicy, and tasty wantons.

How can I ignore these  wonderfully made Steamed Shrimp and Pork Shao Mai (385 PHP)? I could not re-iterate some more on how good their dumplings are but I can describe to you how fun it is to eat these. Eating Steamed Shrimp and Pork Shao Mai is like uncovering a layer of treasure: just when you’re done savoring the top, you’ll realize there are still some surprises in the middle (your juicy pork meat).

For vegetarians out there, they also serve this Stir-Fried Broccoli with Seasoned Vegetables (200 PHP).

You must also try their Black Pepper Beef (375 PHP). The bite size slices of the beef make it enjoyable to eat.

If you are a Pomelo fan like me, their Mango Sago with Pomelo (95 PHP) is a perfect dessert to wash off the taste of all the dumplings in your mouth before you dig into the highlight…

Chocolate Lava XiaoLongBao (115 PHP). Never ever leave DTF without trying these Chocolate XiaoLongBao! It may look ordinary on the outside but its taste precedes its look.

Trust me, the burst of chocolate in your mouth is just amazingly intoxicating! As my friend put it: it is an eclair dumpling.

How to eat this Lava XiaoLongBao?

Just as your Chocolate XiaoLongBao is still hot, swallow one whole in your mouth and nip a portion of it using your teeth. Just like lava, the warm, deep chocolate flow will surely blow you away!

Another ingenious creation in DTF is this Golden Lava Salted Egg Yolk Bun (85 PHP). The sweet and salty filling complement the soft and chewy bun really well.
