The good thing about being a coffee lover is that you will continuously search for awesome coffee places: in town or out of town. As YTB couple searched for another coffee haven to try, we found this spacious and cute cafe in Salcedo Village, Makati City – the Caffe Bene! Our goal was not to drink coffee but to try their famous “Bingsu”!
Tell me, who would not love this HUGE Bingsu bowl with delectable ingredients inside? Look at how the shaved ice are layered with the white cream, the strawberries and strawberry syrup, the red beans, and the ice cream on top of it – isn’t it awesome?!
Huge Strawberry Bingsu (285 PHP)
As we dipped our spoon and had our first scoop, we instantly knew that we want more! YTB couple would love to imagine our bingsu experience as a treasure game: we dug for the ice, the beans, and the strawberries, pinched the mountain-like ice cream on top, then gobble it to mark our first taste of treasure!
But we did not want our bingsu to be alone, so we paired it up with a luscious tiramisu. Oh, they were a perfect pair indeed! The mixture of coffee, eggs, and fluffy cake in our tiramisu were charming that it blended perfectly well with our bingsu.

Cafe Bene roasts their own coffee beans. They also have a selection of gelato which you can try, specialty drinks, tea, frappe, mocktails, coffee, bingsu, and desserts.
